3. User Eligibility
To use Shiftly, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable law
4. User Accounts and Registration
Account creation and management:
- You may register using Google authentication
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations
- One person may only maintain one active account
5. Property Listings
For outgoing tenants listing properties:
- You must have legal authority to list the property
- All information provided must be accurate and current
- You must disclose any known issues with the property
- Photos must be recent and representative of the property
- You may set a reward of up to 20% of monthly rent
- Listings expire automatically after 90 days unless renewed
6. Property Search and Connection
For incoming tenants searching for properties:
- Browse properties freely without charges
- Contact outgoing tenants directly through the platform
- Conduct your own due diligence before committing to any property
- Negotiate directly with property owners/landlords
- Pay agreed rewards directly to outgoing tenants upon successful rental
7. Rewards and Payments
Reward system guidelines:
- Rewards are paid directly between users, not through Shiftly
- Maximum reward is 20% of one month's rent
- Payment is due only after successful rental agreement
- Shiftly does not guarantee payment of rewards
- Disputes over rewards must be resolved between users
- We may provide payment facilitation services in the future
8. Platform Role and Limitations
Shiftly serves as a connection platform only:
- We do not own, manage, or control any properties listed
- We do not act as a real estate broker or agent
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of property information
- We are not party to any rental agreements
- Users are responsible for their own transactions and agreements
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Shiftly to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- List properties you don't have authority to list
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Use the platform for commercial real estate purposes
- Scrape or extract data from the platform
- Interfere with the platform's operation
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
10. Content and Intellectual Property
Content ownership and usage:
- You retain ownership of content you post
- You grant us license to display and promote your listings
- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content posted
- We may remove content that violates these terms
- The Shiftly platform and its features are our intellectual property
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Shiftly, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

14. Termination

- You may delete your account at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations
- Termination does not affect existing obligations
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone
